If dog were a personality trait it would be her only one! Megan currently has 4 dogs and has grown up with dogs and cats her whole life. Her interest in Veterinary Medicine started young, her uncle was a veterinarian that worked on pets and farm animals in Idaho. She loved spending time at his clinic over the summers when she visited.
Megan is the newest addition to the team, before joining Family Vet she was a manager at a dog boarding facility here in Chesapeake. In 2022, she completed her veterinary assistant program with VetMedTeam and became Fear Free certified. Nowadays she enjoys sharing all her time with her pets, going on adventures or just snuggling at home on the couch.
Kelley has been with us since 2017 and loves working up front with the clients, interacting with everyone who comes in and making them feel welcome to the clinic, truly embodying the family atmosphere.
Originally from Rhode Island, she moved to the area in 2010 and her husband is now retired from the Navy. Never one to enjoy cooking, she loves that her husband is a very good cook!
Kelley has two super smart and amazing Australian Shepherds, Micky and Lucy, and would have many more if her husband got on board and she had the space for it.
